Welcome Visitors
The congregation of Peninsula Household of Faith extends a warm welcome to all our visitors. Whether you are just passing through or are looking for a church home we want you to benefit from your time with us. We want you to feel at home and let us know how we can serve you.
During the service we begin with approximately 40 minutes of worship. Our desire is to express heart-felt adoration of God’s person and work through contemporary songs and hymns. Biblical expressions of worship such as lifting hands (Ps. 63:4), clapping (Ps. 47:1), and kneeling (Ps. 95:6) are not only appropriate, they are welcome. We continue with an expository teaching/sermon of approximately 45 minutes. Following the service, on the 1st and 3rd Sundays we share a meal together and then the Lord’s Supper. Whether or not you brought a dish to share please join us!
Your Children are Welcome
One of our key values is the importance of God’s design for the family. We believe that the family has always been God’s primary institution for relationship and growth. Therefore, family ministry at Peninsula Household of Faith is not just one among many programs; it is the way we structure our ministry. This means that we are attempting to do all we can to restore and maintain the biblical roles of fatherhood and motherhood in the home and to support that leadership in all our activities.
One of the ways we hope to support the family is by encouraging parents and children to worship together. Therefore our gathering is for the whole family. We realize that this may raise the noise level of our meetings and be potentially distracting for some, but we believe the long-term biblical benefit of keeping our families together will be profitable for all.
